1.1 Buying products on our website

After placing an order with us, you will receive an e-mail from us acknowledging that we have received your order. Please note that this does not mean that your order has been accepted.

We must receive payment in whole for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted. Once payment has been received by us, and availability of the product you have ordered is verified, we will send you an email confirming that your order has been accepted and has been dispatched. Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us.

1.2 Availability

All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible, before accepting your order, if the goods you have ordered are not available.

1.3 Prices and Payment

All prices on the Violetta London Website are given in British Pounds Sterling (£) and are shown inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT) at the current rate of 20% but exclusive of delivery costs.

You must pay by debit, credit card or via Paypal at the time of the order. The price of any product is the price in force at the date and time of your order. We may change the price of any product before you place an order. Before accepting your order, we will inform you if a product's correct price is higher than that stated in your order and you may cancel the order.

1.4 Cancellation of Order

Under the Distance Selling regulations you have the legal right to cancel your order within 1 hour after the order confirmation. If you want to cancel your order, you need to notify us in writing at francesca@violettalondon.com within 1 hour. Once you have notified us, any sum debited from your credit, debit card or Paypal account will be re-credited to your account as soon as possible and in any event within 14 days of your order.

1.5 Conditions for Returning Goods

All items intended for return must have a Returns Number (RN). RNs must be obtained within 14 working days of receipt of delivery. To obtain a RN number please email francesca@violettalondon.com. Once you have received your RN number, please ensure that you follow the instructions emailed to you and send your return within the next 7 working days. Notification of returns received outside of the above time frames will not be accepted. For all returns, except where the item is faulty, you will be required to arrange and pay for the return of the products to us.

We will only accept returns provided that the goods in question are returned by you and received by us in the condition they were in when delivered to you. If you do not return the goods delivered to you or do not pay the costs of delivery, we shall be entitled to deduct the direct costs of recovering the goods from the amount to be re-credited to you.

You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the items while they are in your possession. If you fail to comply with this obligation, your entitlement to a refund may be affected. We request that you do not remove tags until you are completely satisfied that the items will not be subject to return within 14 days. We also request that items are returned with their original packaging.

This is not intended to be a full statement of your rights under the distance selling regulations. Full details of your rights under the distance selling regulations are available from you local Citizen’s Advice Bureau or your Local Authority’s Trading Standard’s Office. Shipping charges are not refundable.

1.6 Exchange

Subject to stock availability, we will exchange items that are returned to us within 14 days of being received by you. Please note we can only exchange an item for the same item in a different size. If you want to exchange your order, you need to notify us in writing within those 14 days and request an Exchange Number (EX). Once you have notified us and your return has been received, your new item will be dispatched to you as soon as possible.

1.7 Faulty Goods

All items returned as faulty will be inspected and any items deemed subject to wear and tear will not be accepted as faulty. We will replace a faulty item if a replacement is in stock and available.
